About Me

I'd like to introduce my family. My name is Jim (front left). My wife's name is Nancy (front right). I have two children, Steven (rear center) and Jenny (rear left). Kelly (rear right) is Steven's wife.

Our family lives in Parkville, Maryland.

My hobbies include camping, reading, hiking, biking, and tinkering with the computer. My favorite hiking places include the Billy Goat Trail, Sugarloaf Mountain, Gunpowder State Park, and Double Rock Park. The Northern Central Railroad Trail is my favorite biking trail. Trails in the College Park area are also very good.

I dabble into networking and programming. I enjoy working in the Linux environment. You can't beat the price and it comes with everything you would ever want to do in computers and more. I also like to program in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Oracle PL/SQL, and PHP. I have created several web pages for friends, family, businesses and churches.

I have been working for the Motor Vehicle Administration for over a year now. I am a programmer developing applications in C# and ASP.NET. We use MS SQL Server databases. Before that I worked for the Maryland State Department of Education for about three years and before that the University of Maryland for nineteen years.
